Ich dachte, das wäre mal eine interessante Task für einige hier. Vor allem für den König des Norweger-Metals, @Hugin .
Also, hier die Aufgabe: Für jedes Jahr das beste Black Metal Album nennen, das NICHT von einer norwegischen Band aufgenommen wurde.

Ich bin gespannt, obs jemand probiert - und wenn ja, was dabei herauskommt. Eine Liste ohne DARKTHRONE, MAYHEM, BURZUM, EMPEROR, IMMORTAL, DIMMU BORGIR, GORGOROTH, HADES, THORNES, SATYRICON und Co. - ich stelle mir das jedenfalls spannend vor

Ach ja - jeder kann natürlich die Grenzen für Black Metal selber festlegen. Ob SODOM, WOLVES IN THE THRONE ROOM, CRADLE OF FILTH, NECROPHOBIC oder MORBID ANGEL reindürfen, darf also jeder selbst festlegen.

Ich arbeite mal an einer Liste und setze dann immer das in Wirklichkeit beste aus Norwegen in Klammer dazu, denn ich habe starke Zweifel daran, dass ich in einem Jahr ab 1991 ein Album für das "BM-Album des Jahres" halten werde, das die folgenden beiden Kriterien kumulativ erfüllt:

1) Es ist nicht aus Norwegen.
2) Es ist nicht von personae non gratae.

In manchen Jahren hatte ich 3, 4 gute Scheiben zur Auswahl. In anderen gab es teilweise gar keine Auswahl, so dass ich einige Jahre freilassen musste.
Nicht dass sich jemand wundert - ich bin kein Überanhänger von CRADLE OF FILTH, aber so zwischen Mitte der 90er und Mitte der 00er ist es fast das einzig nichtnorwegische, was ich an (ansatzweise) Black Metal naher Musik habe. Gerade die Nennungen ab 2000 würden wohl an andere Bands gehen, wenn sie denn in meiner Sammlung wären. Auch weil COF ja kaum noch was mit BM zu tun hatten.
Die vier Triumphe für PRIMORDIAL dagegen hatten teilweise starke Konkurrenz. Die Band finde ich einfach überragend.
