Also nach den ersten 5 nur noch belanglos ist schon etwas hart.
Ich finde man sollte nur weil zig Bands für ihre ersten wieviel LPs auch immer gehuldigt werden, nicht immer pauschal von belanglos sprechen (ich weiß jetzt kommt "ist nicht bei allen Bands so" und "aber wenn sie belanglos sind was soll ich sagen").
Also Divine Intervention ist gut. God hates us all finde ich auch gut (ich weiß, dass ist eine exklusive Meinung).
Und Christ Illusion und World Painted Blood sind vielleicht nicht so gut wie die ersten, aber BELANGLOS ..... ich weiß nicht.
Wollte ich gerade nur mal so los werden. Trotzdem Friede @Mondkerz

Ich fühle mich dabei zwar schon etwas abartig, aber das Album trifft einen Nerv bei mir. Und "Bloodline" und "Here Comes The Pain" sind großes Tennis!
"Diabolus In Musica" halte ich dagegen für Müll...
Nee, wie bei Maiden und Priest ist das für mich im Falle Slayer ebenso unmöglich, eine Auswahl zu treffen, ohne dass mir der Brägen durchglüht. Als Album im Ganzen ist für mich nach wie vor Hell Awaits unantastbar. Der eine, herrliche, verzückende Song jedoch, der Slayer für mich perfekt auf den Punkt bringt - die Boshaftigkeit, das Psychopathische, die nervenzerfetzende Dynamik und das meisterhafte Gespür für an- und abschwellende Intensität - stammt von Reign in Blood:
