Southern Lord will be bringing back the furious early era of WOLFBRIGADE, the band then known as WOLFPACK, in a trilogy of reissues this April. The series will encompass the savage Swedish act's first three LPs -- A New Dawn Fades, Lycanthro Punk, and Allday Hell -- as well as a boxset including all three LPs and the remaining two EPs released before their name change. This marks twenty years since the release of their first two records; Bloodstained Dreams and A New Dawn Fades.

WOLFBRIGADE was one of the main factors in the renaissance of d-beat driven hardcore punk that ruled the world in the late 1990s and early 2000s, with a legion of bands and labels forming a globally recognized network of crushing momentum, siren-like leads and earnest anger sourced from political dissatisfaction and the need to build from the ground up a DIY system. WOLFBRIGADE's music stood at the forefront, in no small part down to their instantly identifiable brand of destructive riffing, riddled with chaos and ire, and with a fatally catchy tendency to structure tracks in a manner that kept the listener captive, slammed between a constant buffeting of high-speed verses and snappy choruses. Add to that their bare-bones intensity, underwritten by the storming d-beat drumming. The first three albums cemented their direct blasting approach and remain longstanding favorites, before their transformation at the turn of the millennium brought in darker tones and alternate directions.

On April 15th, Southern Lord will be running with the WOLFPACK to return to print A New Dawn Fades (1996), Lycanthro Punk (1998) and Allday Hell (1999), all of which will be available in LP format, or together in a special box set that also comes with the bonus 7"s Bloodstained Dreams (1996) and Hellhound Warpig (1997). Preorders will be available soon from the Southern Lord store.

Additionally, the present incarnation of the band, WOLFBRIGADE, will be once again teaming up with Southern Lord to bring to the masses their next full-length offering, which can be expected later on this year.

VICTIMS: Tankcrimes To Issue Sirens LP By Stockholm Crust Icons; West Coast North American Tour Dates Confirmed

Tankcrimes will proudly deliver the brand new LP from long-running Stockholm hardcore crust warriors, VICTIMS, with the April release of the band's sixth album, Sirens. In a coordinated attack with the LP's impending release, the band will return to North America preceding the street date of Sirens, with a string of West Coast dates beginning in late March.

Surging with a dozen boiling new anthems, VICTIMS delivers their first full-length since 2011's acclaimed A Dissident LP, the band continuing to bridge slightly new flourishes into their exceptionally tried-and-trusted attack. With equal parts morose and triumphant d-beat fury, Sirens was recorded at Studio Gutterview by Fred Estby (Dismember, At The Gates, Refused) and mastered at Audiosiege by Brad Boatright (Iron Reagan, Nails, Integrity), and features the expected white-knuckled surges of angst as well as some more expansive elements throughout the album, all enshrouded in a barbed-wire vocal delivery, packed with unstoppable gang-chants and inescapable hooks.

Tankcrimes will issue Sirens on LP, CD, and digital formats on April 15th, 2016. Stand by for preorder info and audio samples of the album.

Sirens Track Listing:

1. Walls

2. Errors

3. Reverse

4. Seven

5. Storm

6. Turn

7. Promises

8. Heal

9. Sirens

10. Behind

11. Questions

12. Ashes

VICTIMS will also storm the West Coast North American populations on a swift tour preceding the release of Sirens. Running from March 24th through April 1st, the Swedish marauders will kick off the tour with two shows with Napalm Death and Melt Banana in Santa Ana and San Diego, then blaze a path north through Los Angeles, Oakland, Eureka, Portland, Seattle, and Vancouver. Portland will get a double-dose of VICTIMS on this run as the band has been confirmed to join that city's appearance of the Decibel Magazine Tour 2016 with Abbath, High On Fire, Skeletonwitch, and Tribulation on March 31st.

Issued Decibel on the band's inclusion on the tour, "Here at Decibel, we like to extol the virtues of aesthetic violence, not its physical manifestation. But with VICTIMS, you just never know... 'Last time we played Portland, it was sold out, the cops came and there was a fight outside,' says drummer Andy Henriksson, 'so you never know what's going to happen when we release the Swedish hardcorepunk tank.' If we survive all that, Henriksson is stoked on one of the tour's obvious aesthetic draws. 'Tribulation is great, but High On Fire is one of the best bands out there, and I just love to see a shirtless Matt Pike.'"

VICTIMS is also confirmed for several European Summer festivals including Hellfest, Temples Fest and more, with additional tour dates to be announced in the coming weeks.

VICTIMS:

3/24/2016 Observatory - Santa Ana, CA w/ Napalm Death, Melt Banana

3/25/2016 Casbah - San Diego, CA w/ Napalm Death, Melt Banana

6/17-19/2016 Hellfest - Clisson, FR

6/02-05/2016 Temples Fest - Bristol, UK

To even the most pedestrian fan of d-beat hardcore/crust punk, VICTIMS is undeniably one of the genre's kings, their name as synonymous with the genre as Anti-Cimex, Wolfpack/Wolfbrigade, From Ashes Rise, and the like. Through an exceptionally solid but not overcrowded discography since their 1997 inception, through labels like Havoc Records, Deathwish, Tankcrimes and more the band has yielded five prior LPs, and a variety of EPs, having shared platters on splits with the likes of From Ashes Rise, Kylesa, and Acursed. In the fourteen years that have passed since those early days of rehearsals in Nypan, VICTIMS has toured internationally, heavily focused on Europe and the US extensively. Along the way, they've experienced highs and lows, seen lineup changes and personal tragedy, they've been robbed in Italy and hospitalized in the US. They've also played with a host of great bands, touring with the likes of Coliseum, Rotten Sound, Trap Them, The Ocean, Municipal Waste, Black Breath, and countless others, and undoubtedly made some life-long friendships. Today, VICTIMS stands as one of the most respected bands of the underground punk and hardcore community.
